Aviation Capital Group (ACG) announced on Wednesday the delivery of a new Airbus A320neo aircraft on long-term lease to the airline JetSMART. This aircraft, powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1127GA-JM engines, comes from ACG's order book with Airbus. The airline currently has a fleet of 21 aircraft: 11 Airbus A320ceo, 8 A320neo and 2 A321, according to planespotters.net. “This new A320neo shows our commitment to developing our sustainable ultra-low-cost business in South America. One more step towards our goal of 100 aircraft by 2028”, said Estuardo Ortiz, CEO of JetSMART. “We are pleased to further develop our partnership with JetSMART with this delivery of an A320neo. We are honored to support the expansion of the airline's fleet with this modern and efficient aircraft," said Marine Benoit, ACG's Vice President of Marketing for the Latin America region.
